Regarding the establishment of NEC Mobiling's Environmental Policy

Protection of the natural environment and society have become major concerns in recent years and NEC Mobiling is committed to helping to preserve the environment, in order to fulfill its responsibilities as a corporate citizen. The environment has also become a market (natural environmental market) for NEC Mobiling's core business and core operations.

In addition, NEC Mobiling actively promotes environmental management through energy conservation and recycling in all its business activities. Our concern is not limited only to internal activities; we aim to be a good corporate citizen, supported by the understanding and collaboration of our business partners.

To turn intentions into specific actions, NEC Mobiling has established a Basic Environmental Policy and Action Guideline to ensure implementation. We believe these policies and action guidelines will help develop our environmental management system based on the ISO14001 standard that has been already awarded to us.

Basic Policy

NEC Mobiling will contribute to the realization of a mobile society and a sound environment through business activities that harmonize with nature and through corporate activities that are environmentally friendly. Our vision is a world where our natural environment is preserved, and where all people may experience the richness of humanity.

Action Guideline

1. Aligning all activities, from the development and design phase to the provision of products and services, to our intended purpose of preserving the environment through waste reduction, resource and energy conservation, amongst others.
2. Making continual efforts to improve the environment taking into consideration the impact we have on the environment, and engaging in activities to prevent contamination.
3. Observing the environmental regulations of both national and local governments, and moreover, establishing an internal management standard, to improve our environmental management.
4. In implementing the environmental management action items, specific environmental goals, targets and practices will be clearly defined in the Environmental Management Plans, and they will be reviewed to meet changes in environmental regulations, technological and other advances in order to protect the environment.
5. Writing out the Environmental Policy for distribution to all employees, implementing it through the environmental management system, and maintaining it.
